Jet Transporting US Defense Secretary Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, per an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The jet landed based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," a press officer stated in a online announcement.

The secretary was coming back from a short visit to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This event is not the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has experienced equipment failures.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to return to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
